There was a buzz of excitement in the house as Bob and Courtney managed their company from a dining room table and kids bustled in from school. This family is a step above cool, with their uber-stylish digs, seven beautiful children, successful interior design business, hit Bravo and HGTV series, a new book and a furniture line for CB2 (just to name a few)!

Uber designers Robert and Cortney Novogratz are kicking off the holiday season by teaming with Shutterfly. The husband-and-wife team — who juggle raising seven kids in Manhattan on their HGTV show “Home by Novogratz” — transformed an event space into a winter wonderland with the help of the photo book company, and were mobbed by fans onsite to share seasonal decorating tips.

Superstorm Sandy interrupted Halloween festivities last year, so many New Yorkers are making up for it this season.
Upon entering interior designers Cortney and Robert Novogratz's home on Thursday evening, Ms. Novogratz took our hand and hurried us to the haunted house on their basketball court.
There, Five Novogratz, one of the family's seven children, played a zombie and spooked guests including actor Fatima Ptacek, the voice of Dora the Explorer. The family's kids "all seem really cool," the 13-year-old actor, who dressed as Supergirl, said. "They were so helpful, they took me down for the tour and they helped me out when I was screaming hysterically."
